Daylight Studio was conceived in 2016 by Jack Daley.
Whilst working as a care worker in a day centre for disabled people, Jack became aware of the incredible expression and joy the Service Users had for creativity. He started running music activities that encouraged and explored communication, engagement and development in a creative environment and supported releases of the music and videos created.
With this foundation, Daylight Studio became a Charity in 2021, aiming to promote this way of working to help Disabled People use creativity to develop tangible positive changes in their lives. Showcasing the incredible Art created by this community (as we go).
In 2023 Daylight Studio partnered with Cripplegate Foundation and Islington Giving to train two neuro-divergent Trustees. They have both since joined as full time members.
